Description Azido-PEG2- t-butyl ester is a azide containing PEG compound. The azide (N3) group is reactive with BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. The t-butyl protected carboxyl group can be deprotected under acidic conditions.
Uses Azido-PEG2-C2-Boc is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Azido-PEG2-C2-Boc is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
