Description
Cinitapride is a substituted benzamide dopamine receptor antagonist effective in the
treatment of gastroesophageal reflux and a variety of gastrointestinal motility disorders.
It generates strong procholinergic activity in the gastrointestinal tract by elevating the
serotonergic transmission in the mysenteric plexus.
