Ethoxytrimethylsilane is also called Trimethylethoxysilane, an intermediate useful for blocking hydroxyl or amino groups to perform reactions on multi-functional organic compounds or polymers. It is also useful for deactivating glass surfaces used in gas chromatographic applications.
