Applications
Dimethylammonium bromide (DMABr), due to its larger cationic nature, is always being used to tune the band-gap or electrical properties of perovskite structures. In doing this, it enables the achievement of highly efficient device performance and longer lifetime stability in hybrid organic-inorganic electronics applications.

Uses
Dimethylamine Hydrobromide is the basic form of Dimethylamine (Metformin EP Impurity F); which is a compound often used in industry as a precursor to Nitrosodimethylamine (N525625), a potent carcinogen that is produced during disinfection of wastewater effluent, and is also present in trace amounts in food and polluted air. Dimethylamine is also present in human urine and can be indicative of certain disorders.
