Description
N-Isobutyryl-5'-O-tert-butyldimethylsilyl-2'-deoxyguanosine can be used to activate proteins, receptors, and ion channels. It has been shown to bind to the receptor site on the cell membrane, which may inhibit the binding of ligands and then initiate signal transduction. N2-Isobutyryl-5'-o-(tert-butyldimethylsilyl)-2'-deoxyguanosine has been shown to inhibit protein interactions, such as antibody binding and peptide binding. This ligand also inhibits the activity of ion channels in a dose-dependent manner.
