Description
Triallyl trimellitate (TATM or benzene-1,2,4-tricarboxylate), a pale yellow liquid, can be used as a highly effective crosslinker due to its three allyl groups.

Application
Triallyl trimelliate (TATM) is a Type II coagent used in peroxide curing systems, particularly for elastomers like EPDM, to enhance crosslinking density, improve mechanical properties (tensile strength and modulus), and maintain high thermal stability

Preparation
Triallyl trimellitate is prepared by the reaction of trimellitic anhydride and allyl alcohol under a sulfuric acid catalyst.
Hazard
Triallyl trimellitate is harmful if swallowed, it causes skin irritation and serious eye irritation,it May also cause respiratory irritation.
