Chemical Properties
2'-Deoxyuridine-5'-triphosphate trisodium salt is White powder
Uses
2'-Deoxyuridine-5'-triphosphate trisodium salt may be used to study the distribution, specificity and kinetics of deoxyuridine 5′-triphosphate nucleotidohydrolase(s). 2'-Deoxyuridine-5'-triphosphate trisodium salt is important enzymes that protect cells from the incorporation of dUTP into DNA.
Uses
2'-Deoxyuridine-5'-triphosphate disodium salt is used in conjunction with uracil DNA glycosylase to prevent carryover contamination in PCR. The dUTP is substituted for dTTP in the PCR reaction, used to study the distribution, specificity and kinetics of deoxyuridine 5?-triphosphate nucleotidohydrolase(s) (dUTPase, EC 3.6.1.23). dUTPase are important enzymes that protect cells from the incorporation of dUTP into DNA.
Definition
ChEBI: DUTP is a deoxyuridine phosphate having a triphosphate group at the 5'-position. It has a role as a human metabolite, an Escherichia coli metabolite, a mouse metabolite and an Arabidopsis thaliana metabolite. It is a pyrimidine 2'-deoxyribonucleoside 5'-triphosphate and a deoxyuridine phosphate. It is a conjugate acid of a dUTP(3-).
