Description
Rifapentine-d9 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of rifapentine (Item No. 20307) by GC- or LC-MS. Rifapentine is a long-lasting rifamycin antibiotic that inhibits DNA-dependent RNA polymerases and is effective against Mycobacterium species, including M. tuberculosis, as well as experimental infections caused by S. aureus, S. pyogenes group A, S. pneumoniae, and K. pneumoniae.1,2WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
