Uses

1-Palmitoyl-2-(L-α-phosphatidylinositol) Sodium Salt is a substrate for phospholipase C that contains mainly linoleic and palmitic acids.

Biological Activity

L-α-phosphatidylinositol (Soy) plays a key role as a cellular mediator during signal transduction processes. It is used to design therapeutic delivery vehicle for drug delivery. Soy PI also contributes to the regulation of cholesterol metabolism.
