Synthesis
Tris(acetonitrile)chromium tricarbonyl is synthesized by refluxing Hexacarbonylchromium in Acetonitrile in an inert atmosphere. Removal of solvent under an inert atmosphere yields tris(acetonitrile)tricarbonylchromium.
