Uses

Macranthoidin A has antiviral, bacteriostatic and antipyretic effects.

Biological Activity

Macranthoidin A is an orally active saponin extracted from honeysuckle. It has a protective effect on acetaminophen, cadmium and carbon tetrachloride-induced liver injury, and has a significant inhibitory effect on the swelling of auris croton oil.
