Tigloyl-CoA (Tiglyl-coenzyme A) is an intermediate product of isoleucine metabolism. Tigloyl-CoA is an inhibitor of N-acetylglutamate synthetase[1].
Definition
ChEBI: 2-methylcrotonoyl-CoA is a 2-enoyl-CoA and a monounsaturated fatty acyl-CoA. It is functionally related to a but-2-enoyl-CoA and a tiglic acid. It is a conjugate acid of a 2-methylcrotonoyl-CoA(4-).
