The industrial production of furametpyr begins with the construction of a pyrazole-4-carboxamide core, which is chlorinated at the 5-position to enhance antifungal activity. This intermediate is then coupled with a trimethyl-substituted benzofuran moiety via amide bond formation, producing the final compound: 5-chloro-1,3-dimethyl-N-(1,1,3-trimethyl-3H-2-benzofuran-4-yl)pyrazole-4-carboxamide. The synthesis is carried out under controlled conditions to ensure regioselectivity and purity.
