Glidobactin C (GlbC) is an anti-tumor antibiotic. Glidobactin C (GlbC) has the activity against pathogenic fungi and yeast. Glidobactin C has anti-Candida albicans and Aspergillus fumigatus activity with a MIC of 0.8 μg/mL. Glidobactin C also extends the survival of mice inoculated with leukemia P388 cells[1].
