Andarine is a non-steroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) that has tissue-selective androgenic and anabolic effects in animals. It improves muscle strength and prevents bone loss in orchidectomized rats. Like other SARMs, andarine produces anabolic effects in muscle and bone without androgenic effects. Anabolic agents, including andarine and other SARMs, are prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency.
