Sermorelin is a peptide similar in structure to growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It stimulates the pituitary to release adequate amounts of growth hormone in concert with the body's circadian rhythm, has been used in the diagnosis and treatment of children with idiopathic growth hormone deficiency. Its possible side effects include: hives or other rashes, swelling of the mouth, tongue, lips, or face shortness of breath, tightness in the chest.
