What is the benefits and side effects of Fisetin?

Fisetin is known to have antioxidant properties and demonstrates the specific biological activity of protecting functional macromolecules against stress, resulting in a benefit to cellular cytoprotection. It is also known to have anti-inflammatory, chemopreventive, and chemotherapeutic properties. Human clinical data about fisetin's toxicity and safety are limited, with reported side effects generally being mild. Participants treated with up to 800 mg fisetin daily reported dizziness, upset stomach, nausea, fatigue, migraines, and headaches in the trial in men with Gulf War Illness. Elevations in creatinine kinase were also observed, and one participant experienced gastro-esophageal reflux disease.
