What is hafnium nitride crystal structure?
Hafnium Nitride (HfN) Powder is a gray powder with a cubic crystal structure. Melting point 3310℃, microhardness 16GPa. It’s an important component of hafnium alloy. Hafnium Nitride is fairly stable but easily corroded by aqua regia, concentrated sulfuric acid, and hydrofluoric acid. The reaction is generated directly by the hafnium and nitrogen at 900 ℃, it is an important part of refractory compounds hafnium alloy.
