Herbicide---Tribenuron-methyl
Tribenuron-methyl is a chemical substance with the molecular formula C15H17N5O6S. Used for weeding. The mechanism is a selective systemic conduction herbicide, which can be absorbed by the roots and leaves of weeds and conducted in the plant body. By inhibiting the activity of acetolactate synthase (ALS), it affects the biosynthesis of branched chain amino acids (such as leucine, isoleucine, valine, etc.).
Physical properties
Chemical name, methyl 2-[N-(4-methoxy-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-N-methylcarbamomidylsulfonyl]benzoate, This product is a white solid, mp141℃, vapor pressure 0.036×10-3Pa (25℃). At pH 4, pH 5, and pH 6, the solubility in water is 28mg/L, 50mg/L, and 280mg/L respectively; the solubility in organic solvents is: acetone 43.8g/L, acetonitrile 54.2g/L , Carbon tetrachloride 3.12g/L, ethyl acetate 17.5g/L, hexane 0.028g/L. The partition coefficient (n-octanol/water) is 0.36 (pH=7). It is stable in storage at room temperature and stable to light. It is hydrolyzed at 45°C, and the pH value is 8-10, but it hydrolyzes rapidly at pH<7 or >12. The half-life in soil is 1~7d.
Control object
It is mainly used to control various annual broad-leaved weeds. It has good effects on Artemisia sowing, shepherd’s purse, cardamine shepherd’s purse, Maijiagong, quinoa, and amaranth, etc. It also has a certain control effect. It has no significant effect on field thistle, Polygonum vulgare, field bindweed, and lacquer. It is not effective on grass weeds such as wild oats, sylvestris, brome, and Aegilops japonicus.
Mechanism of action
This product is a selective systemic and conductive herbicide, which can be absorbed by the roots and leaves of weeds and conducted in plants. By inhibiting the activity of acetolactate synthase (ALS), it affects the biosynthesis of branched chain amino acids (such as leucine, isoleucine, valine, etc.). After the plant is injured, the growth point is necrotic, the leaf veins become chlorosis, the growth of the plant is severely inhibited, dwarfed, and eventually the whole plant dies. Sensitive weeds stop growing immediately after absorbing the drug, and die after 1-3 weeks.
Instructions
Wheat is applied from the 2-leaf stage to the jointing stage, and weeds are applied before or after the seedlings. The general dosage of 10% tribenuron-methyl wettable powder is 10-20g/mu, the amount of water is 15-30kg, and the weed stems and leaves are sprayed evenly. When the weeds are small, a low dose can achieve better control effect, and when the weeds are large, a high dose can be used.
