Application of NADH, disodium salt
NADH, disodium salt is an important reducing coenzyme that acts as a regenerative electron donor in cellular energy metabolism. It is involved in a variety of biological processes, including glycolysis, β-oxidation, tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, ribosylation, gene expression, DNA repair and cell signalling. In the chemical industry, it is used as an electron donor for the optimisation of NADH photoregeneration systems and for chemiluminescence studies in the NADH-europium ion-hydrogen peroxide system.
