Antioxidant RIANOX 1035

Rianlon is a major manufacturer of anti-aging additives and application technologies for polymeric materials. Products include antioxidants (RIANOX®), light stabilizers(RIASORB®), and U-pack® grades which are anti-aging solutions, with enhanced safety, health and environmental profiles. Rianlon materials are widely used in automotive parts, coatings, construction materials, packaging, electronics, rubber, lubricants and other industries.

RIANOX 1035 (Old name: THANOX 1035) is a phenolic antioxidant by Rianlon. It is suitable for crosslinked or carbon black containing systems. It is compatible with polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyester, polyamide, polyurethane, rubber and PVC. RIANOX 1035 offers improved performance stability, long-term thermal stability, processing stability and maintenance of color properties. It is recommended for adhesives.

Rianox 1035 is a sulfur containing primary (phenolic) antioxidant and heat stabilizer used for the process stabilization of polyethylene wire and cable resins. The world’s most widely used antioxidant for PE and XLPE wire and cable resins, RIANOX 1035, provides efficient processing stabilization and long-term thermal stability with excellent system compatibility and low color. The high quality of RIANOX 1035 eliminates the concern over microcontaminants that can effect the insulation properties of the wire. RIANOX 1035 offers excellent heat stability and is very unlikely to exude. RIANOX 1035 prevents scorching of PUR flexible foams in combination with an aminic antioxidant and is used as a replacement for antioxidant BHT.
