Properties: white orthorhombic crystals or powder.
Solubility: insoluble in water, soluble in concentrated hydrochloric acid and concentrated nitric acid, alkali and alcohol.
Preparation or source: sodium aluminate is dissolved by hot water into a thick liquid, adding phosphoric acid reaction or by phosphoric acid three sodium and aluminum sulfate metathesis.
Other: relatively stable at 580 ℃, 1400 ℃does not melt and become gelatinous body. From room temperature to 1200 ℃, aluminum phosphate four polymorphs, common for the alpha type.
Pharmacological effects: the product is antacid. Can neutralize gastric acid buffer, so that the increase of gastric pH value, thus relieving hyperacidity symptoms. Compared with aluminum hydroxide, the acid-neutralizing ability is weak and slow, but does not cause loss in phosphate, does not affect the phosphorus, calcium balance. The aluminum phosphate gel can form colloidal protective film isolation and protection of tissue injury.
Pharmacokinetics: This product almost no absorption in vivo.
Indications: applicable to the stomach and duodenum ulcer, reflux esophagitis and acid related diseases antacid therapy.
Use: it is made of special glass fluxing agent, binder for ceramic, teeth, but also for the production of emollients, fireproof coating additives, conductive cement, textile industry as antifouling agent, organic synthesis as a catalyst, in addition to the pharmaceutical industry and paper industry.
