1.Antioxidation

The direct cause of oxidative injury is that there are too many active free radicals in the body. These excessive active radicals attack and damage the structure of skin cells, destroy the structure of cell membrane, damage protein, even induce DNA mutation. Resveratrol is a typical polyphenol compound, which can eliminate or inhibit the formation of free radicals, inhibit lipid peroxidation and regulate the activity of antioxidant related enzymes.

2.Anti inflammatory

Inflammation and the production of free radicals often complement each other. If we want to have a real antioxidant, we must inhibit the inflammatory response. Resveratrol can reduce the amount of hydrogen peroxide produced by reducing the degree of inflammation by changing the expression of IL-1β (inflammatory cytokines) and NF-kβ (nuclear transcription factors). As a selective inhibitor of cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1), resveratrol shows excellent anti-inflammatory activity in vivo, effectively inhibits inflammatory response, and relieves redness and sensitivity.
