Description：Cenupatide是一种尿激酶纤溶酶原激活物受体 (uPAR) 抑制剂候选药物，是一条由4个氨基酸组成的直链小分子多肽，序列中含有两个非天然氨基酸。Cenupatide抑制uPAR与甲酰肽受体(FPR)的结合可以改善链脲佐菌素(STZ)诱导的糖尿病大鼠模型中的肾脏损伤。实验发现Cenupatide可恢复STZ诱导的uPA水平和活性上调，而足细胞上的uPAR和(s)uPAR不受影响。同事在肾小球中，Cenupatide能抑制FPR2表达，表明该药物可能作用于下游uPAR，并恢复了αvβ3整合素/Rac-1 途径的活性增加，表明uPAR在调节足细胞功能中的主要作用。

Cenupatide is a candidate drug that inhibits the urokinase plasminogen activator receptor (uPAR), a small linear polypeptide composed of four amino acids, with two non-natural amino acids in its sequence. By inhibiting the binding of uPAR to the formyl peptide receptor (FPR), Cenupatide can improve renal damage in a streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic rat model. Experimental findings reveal that Cenupatide restores the upregulation of uPA levels and activity induced by STZ, while uPAR and (s)uPAR on podocytes remain unaffected. Additionally, in the glomeruli, Cenupatide suppresses FPR2 expression, suggesting the drug may act downstream of uPAR and restore the increased activity of the αvβ3 integrin/Rac-1 pathway, indicating uPAR's pivotal role in regulating podocyte function.
