名称Ethoxylated hydrogenated castor oil
描述Ethoxylated hydrogenated castor oil is a combination of synthetic polyethylene glycol (PEG) with natural castor oil. Ethoxylated hydrogenated castor oil can be used to emulsify and solubilize oil-in-water (o/w) emulsions.
体内活性将近20%的Ethoxylated hydrogenated castor oil被用来乳化甘油单油酸酯(GMO)作为油进入水相。在Webster小鼠中，一次性口服5000 mg/kg的空白纳米乳剂，每天一次，连续14天，此纳米乳剂未产生有害效应，且对食物摄入无影响[1]。20%Ethoxylated hydrogenated castor oil（10 μl）被涂于小鼠的左耳，而右耳作为对照。观察小鼠6天内是否出现红斑发展，未观察到小鼠有任何刺激迹象[2]。通过尾静脉注射Ethoxylated hydrogenated castor oil（300、900及2700 mg/kg；4周）进行短期毒性测试。300和900 mg/kg的PEG-40 氢化蓖麻油剂量未表现出系统毒性。然而，2700 mg/kg剂量下，观察到轻微的共济失调，并且在男性中体重显著降低，在女性中略有降低[2]。
