Terlipressin acetate

Terlipressin is an analogue of vasopressin used as a vasoactive drug in the management of hypotension. It is used norepinephrine-resistant septic shock and hepatorenal syndrome. It is also used in the treatment of acute variceal bleeding. Terlipressin Acetate 1 mg solution for injection is used for the treatment of: bleeding from dilated (widening) veins in the food pipe leading to your stomach (called bleeding oesophageal varices)
