The Phospho-PDPK1 (Ser241) antibody is designed to detect endogenous levels of 3-phosphoinositide-dependent protein kinase 1 (PDPK1 or PDK1) when phosphorylated at serine 241. PDPK1 is a serine/threonine kinase critical for activating AGC kinase family members, including AKT/PKB, SGK, and PKC, through phosphorylation of their activation loops. Autophosphorylation at Ser241 within the kinase's catalytic domain is essential for PDPK1's full activation and stability, enabling it to regulate downstream signaling pathways involved in cell survival, proliferation, metabolism, and apoptosis.
