描述	(S)-Gossypol acetic acid ((S)-(+)-Gossypol acetic acid) is a conformational isomer of Gossypol that acts as a BH3 mimic capable of binding Bcl-xL and Bcl-2 proteins, with the potential to induce apoptosis and inhibit cell growth.
体外活性	(S)-Gossypol acetic acid 在多种人类肿瘤细胞系中显示出广谱抗癌作用，尤其对人鼻咽癌 CNE-2 细胞表现出显著抑制增殖和诱导凋亡效果。在 CNE-2 细胞中，(S)-Gossypol acetic acid（剂量范围：2.5-20 μM，处理时间：24 小时）可诱导线粒体膜电位下降、Bax 上调、Bcl-2 下调、caspase-3 激活，呈现剂量依赖性[1]。
体内活性	在 BALB/c 裸鼠 CNE-2 异种移植模型中，每天腹腔注射 (S)-Gossypol acetic acid（20 mg/kg/day，连续 21 天），可显著抑制肿瘤生长（肿瘤体积减少约 60%，P < 0.05），且未见明显体重下降或毒性反应[1]。
