Bioactivity

名称	Cucurbitacin B
描述	Cucurbitacin B (Cuc B) has profound in vitro and in vivo antiproliferative effects against human pancreatic Y cells. It inhibited AKT signaling activation through up-regulation of PTEN. Cucurbitacin B is an effective inhibitor of HIF-1 and provide new perspectives into the mechanism of its anticancer activity. Cucurbitacin B inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis via STAT3 pathway inhibition in A549 lung Y cells.
细胞实验	For proliferation measurements, the cells are placed into 96 well plates, and cell growth is measured at various times by MTT assay according to the protocol.(Only for Reference)
体外活性	Cucurbitacin B 抑制了5种胶质母细胞瘤（GBM）细胞系U87、U118、U343、U373和T98 g的生长，作用机制涉及细胞骨架和JNK途径，其ED50范围为5 nM至100 nM。Cucurbitacin B 还能在G2/M期阻滞细胞周期、降低细胞迁移并诱导GBM细胞的凋亡。[1] 在人乳腺癌细胞系中，Cucurbitacin B 同样抑制细胞生长，ED50在30.3 nM至418 nM之间，并快速诱导细胞骨架破坏。[2] 此外，Cucurbitacin B 还具有免疫调节和抗炎作用，这依赖于通过Nrf2激活诱导血红素氧合酶-1表达。[3]
体内活性	在裸鼠体内携带MDA-MB-231肿瘤时，Cucurbitacin B（1 mg/kg，i.p.）通过抑制肿瘤生长55%，同时降低血清中的葡萄糖水平。[2]
