名称	Cholesterol
描述	Cholesterol is the primary sterol in mammals, accounting for approximately 20–25% of the plasma membrane structure. It plays a key role in regulating membrane fluidity, permeability, and protein function. As an endogenous agonist of estrogen-related receptor α (ERRα), cholesterol is widely involved in metabolic regulation and serves as a precursor for the synthesis of hormones and bile acids. It is commonly used in experimental models of hyperlipidemia.
体外活性	方法：CD4+T 淋巴细胞用 7-KC (17.5-70 µM) 和 Cholesterol-MβCD (17.5-70 µM) 孵育 10 min，使用 di-4 ANEPPDHQ fluorescent dye 评估 T 细胞的膜秩序和紊乱。结果：暴露于 7-KC 后，T 细胞膜秩序以剂量依赖性的方式发生改变，仅在用 35 µM Cholesterol 处理的细胞中观察到膜秩序的显著重建，而用 l7.5 µM Cholesterol 重建引起的影响最小。[1] 方法：人胃癌细胞 SNU601、SNU638 和 SNU216 用 Cholesterol (25-100 µM) 处理 48 h，使用 MTT Assay 检测细胞活力。结果：Cholesterol 导致所有三种细胞系中细胞活力的剂量依赖性降低。[2]
体内活性	方法：为诱导高胆固醇血症，给 STD:ddY 小鼠喂食高胆固醇饮食 (1% cholesterol, 0.5% cholic acid, 5% olive oil and 93% standard mouse chow)。结果：Cholesterol 可用于构建小鼠高胆固醇血症模型。[3] 方法：为诱导高脂血症，给 CD-1 小鼠喂食高胆固醇饮食 (2% cholesterol and 0.6% sodium deoxycholate)。结果：Cholesterol 可用于构建小鼠高脂血症模型。[4]
