名称	Erythromycin estolate
描述	Erythromycin estolate is a semi-synthetic derivative of erythromycin with good oral absorption and bioavailability tolerance. As a macrolide antibiotic, Erythromycin exerts its antibacterial action by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis and is mainly used in studies for the treatment of respiratory, skin and soft tissue infections caused by susceptible bacteria. Erythromycin estolate may cause liver injury, including mild cholestatic hepatitis, jaundice, and paucity of bile ducts.
体外活性	Erythromycin estolate在不同细胞类型中有效抑制了HCoV-OC43感染，并在安全浓度下显著降低了病毒滴度。此外，研究发现erythromycin estolate能够在早期阶段抑制HCoV-OC43感染，并通过破坏病毒膜的完整性以不可逆的方式灭活病毒，其作用目标可能是病毒膜的脂质成分。综上所述，erythromycin estolate有望成为治疗HCoV-OC43感染的潜在药物。[1]
