The main component of ceramic dispersant KR-908 is the salt of anionic polymer. This product can adsorb on the surface of various small particles and generate electrostatic repulsion to disperse them, avoiding sedimentation and coarsening. KR-908 is mainly used as an additive in industries such as magnetic materials, electronic ceramics, papermaking, alumina ceramics, and daily ceramics. Adding ceramic dispersant KR-908 during the grinding process of the slurry can greatly reduce the viscosity of the processed material, facilitate material processing, and stabilize the viscosity of the slurry after dispersion. All volatilization during the product roasting process has no impact on the physical and chemical properties of the product. This product is a non dangerous product with less foam, no toxicity and no corrosion.
Place raw materials containing a certain amount of moisture in the grinder or mixing tank (barrel), add a quantitative amount of ceramic dispersant KR-908, and after grinding, obtain a stable and flowable high solid content slurry, reducing its water consumption, which is beneficial for grinding and shortening the drying process. In the production of powder by dry pressing or semi dry pressing, the dry powder obtained by spray granulation has good strength during the pressing process, greatly enhances the abrasion resistance of semi-finished products, and reduces defects such as uneven shrinkage and cracking during firing.
The general addition amount of ceramic dispersant KR-908 is about 0.2-2% of the material (solid/solid); The optimal dosage can be determined based on experiments. It can also be mixed with inorganic phosphate dispersants.
