Active Substance：

Terlipressin is a synthetic analog of vasopressin and is used as a vasoactive drug

 in the management of hypotension. 
Terlipressin represents a prodrug, it is converted to (Lys8)-vasopressin (LVP) after 

removal of the N-terminal triglycine in vivo. Terlipressin has a longer duration of 

action and a better safety profile than the parent compound LVP.
