水中余氯测定，过去广泛使用的是邻联甲苯胺法和碘量法，这些方法操作繁琐，分析周期长（需专业技术人员），无法满足对水质进行快速、即需即检的要求，不适合于现场分析；而且邻联甲苯胺试剂对操作人员有致癌性。

水中余氯测试盒(DPD方法)是由广东环凯微生物科技有限公司研制的一种适合于现场快速检测水中余氯的常备试剂。产品为片剂，单次用量独立铝箔包装，保质期长达2年，携带与储存方便，检测结果准确。
