Usage
A broad spectrum microbiocide for controlling the growth of bacteria and fungi in pulp and paper manufacture and related systems. It is employed for slime control and for the protection of coating formulations, starch slurries, glue and other paper making chemicals.It is compatible with most pulp mill stocks & paper machine furnishes & for slime control it is not retained by the paper.

First Aid Measures

Ingestion
Induce vomiting with Ipecac syrup. Seek medical assistance if patient remains unwell.
Inhalation
Remove to fresh air. Seep medical assistance if patient remains unwell.
Skin
Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected areas with soap and water.
Eyes
Flush with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation percists.

Handling and Storage

Storage
Store in a cool area away from oxidising agents. Avoid unnecessary contact with skin and eyes. Use normal hygeine and housekeeping practices. Keep container sealed and do not store with foodstuffs, grains, fertilisers or other biocides or herbicides.

All chemicals should be considered hazardous. Avoid direct physical contact. Use appropriate, approved safety equipment. Untrained individuals should not handle this chemical or its container. Handling should occur in a chemical fume hood.

Exposure Effects
For many dithiocarbamates, there is a severe interaction between the compound and alcohol, which can result in nausea and vomiting. It is not known whether this product has the same effect or how severe it is. Some dithiocarbamates can cause dermatitis and/or irritation of the mucous membranes. Chronic exposure to some dithiocarbamates can cause thyroid problems.
