Overview:
Ampelopsis grossedentata is a species of plant that belongs to the grape family, Vitaceae. It is native to several Asian countries and the tea made from its leaves is widely consumed as a beverage, commonly called vine tea or moyeam tea.
Vine tea contains high levels of flavonoids, especially dihydromyricetin (ampelopsin) and myricetin, which are natural antioxidants and anti-inflammatory substances. People drink vine tea for hangover remedy and believe it has liver protection properties.
Hovane's vine tea extract is derived from natural Ampelopsis grossedentata leaves, and the extract is standardized to 50% dihydromyricetin (ampelopsin).
