Uridine is formed by a nucleoside bond with ribose, and its triphosphate compound is uridine triphosphate, which is a precursor of uracil in the biosynthesis of ribonucleic acid. Urinary triphosphorus is involved in the synthesis of biochemicalbooks of some sugars as a coenzyme. Uracil can block the degradation of tegafur, increase the concentration of fluorouracil, and enhance the anticancer effect. The clinical indication is the same as fluorouracil, mainly used in digestive system cancer, breast cancer and thyroid cancer, and the combination of mitomycin for advanced gastric cancer has a good effect. Uracil is produced in the laboratory by cyclization of urea with ethyl formylacetate. Used in pharmaceutical and biochemical research.
