Tetradecyltributylphosphorus chloride is widely used in industrial circulating cooling water systems, oilfield water injection systems, papermaking pulp and water systems, condensate water systems, industrial cleaning water systems, marine mollusk killing, and other industrial water systems for microbial killing, inhibition of microbial reproduction, and treatment of biological fouling.
