Trans-cinnamic acid cinnamic acid is used to prepare L-phenylalanine, used as an intermediate of the coronary heart disease drug cardicoan, and can also be used in the manufacture of local anesthetics, fungicides, hemostatic drugs, etc. In the fragrance industry, it is used to produce methyl phenyl acrylate, ethyl ester and phenyl ester, which is used as food and chemical makeup spices, and has a good aroma protection effect.
