Sodium tetraphenylborate is a white crystal, which is one of the commonly used reagents in analytical chemistry. It is soluble in water, methanol, acetone and ethanol, and slightly soluble in chloroform and ether. It is used as raw material for preparation of other tetraphenylborides, precipitant and identification reagent of potassium ion, polycondensation catalyst of carbonate ester, organic synthesis and coordination chemical reagent.
