Penicillin G potassium is easily soluble in water, saline and glucose solutions. The aqueous solution is easy to fail when placed at room temperature, and it will quickly fail when encountering acid, alkali, oxidant, etc. It has a good antibacterial effect against streptococcus species such as hemolytic streptococci, streptococcus pneumoniae and staphylococci that do not produce penicillinase. Penicillin G potassium has a moderate antibacterial effect on enterococci. Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Bacillus anthracis, Actinomyces bovis, Streptomyces candida, Listeria monocytogenes, Leptospira and Treponema pallidum are sensitive to this product.
