It binds to the estrogen receptor of MCF-7 human breast cancer chemical ledger cells and stimulates the proliferation of estrogen receptor positive EMCF-7 breast cancer cells to be sugar dependent, but has no effect on the growth of receptor negative EMDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells. Phenols are a simple, rapid and cheap method for the determination of hydrogen peroxide produced in cultured cells. This analysis is based on the horseradish peroxidase mediated oxidation of phenol by hydrogen peroxide. The result is that a complex is formed at 610nm, indicating that the adsorption is enhanced.
