What is orexin B?'Orexin B' is a hypothalamic neuropeptide that, along with Orexin A, regulates sleep/wakefulness by maintaining wakefulness through the modulation of certain neurons involved in the regulation of wakefulness.
What is the difference between Orexin A and B?Orexin-A consists of 33 amino acids with two disulfide bridges, and orexin-B is a linear peptide of 28 amino acids that probably forms two alpha helices
