N,N-Dimethyl-p-toluidine is used as a catalyst for the polymerisation of polyester, acrylate and epoxy resins. It is also used as a curing agent for dental cement and adhesives. It is also a photographic chemical, industrial glue, artificial nail preparation, and colouring agent. In addition, it is used to accelerate the polymerisation of ethyl methacrylate.
