Levomisole is commonly used to dewormer a variety of animals and is effective against both adults and larvae. It has eye-repellent parasites to many nematodes. It can be used in poultry to expel a variety of threadworms, and can be used in pigs to expel roundworms, intestinal nematodes (strongylodes), and kidney worms in the ureter (toothed Corynedes), as well as in nematodes, Trichostrongylodes, and Acrostoma. For dogs can be used to drive away roundworms, hookworms and heartworms.
