L-fucose is present in several human lacto-oligosaccharides, in the eggs of sea urchins and in frog eggs, and in polysaccharides from plants such as seaweed , yarrow gum, potatoes, kiwi, soybeans, winged-bean varieties, and Canadian oilseed rape.
