This product is a kind of cholanic acid extracted from pig bile. It is white or slightly yellow powder, smelly and slightly fishy and bitter. Mp 197℃(decomposition). Slightly soluble in alcohol, slightly soluble in acetone, very slightly soluble in ether, chloroform, almost insoluble in water. This product can inhibit the formation of cholic acid and dissolve fat, reduce blood cholesterol and triglyceride.
