Usage

1. Used as corrosion inhibitor. HPAA has excellent corrosion inhibition performance, especially used in low hardness, low alkalinity, strong corrosive water, showing a strong corrosion inhibition. HPAA has good chelation with divalent ions, and can be used as a metal ion stabilizer to effectively stabilize Fe2+, Fe3+, Mn2+, Al3+ plasma in water, reducing corrosion and scaling. HPAA can significantly reduce the deposition of calcium carbonate and silicon dioxide, and has good scale inhibition performance, but HPAA has poor scale inhibition performance on calcium sulfate scale. In order to avoid the decomposition of HPAA by oxidizing fungicides, protective agents can be used, but they are less affected by residual chlorine (0.5 ~ 1.0mg/L) in the intermittent chlorinated cooling water system. HPAA combined with zinc salt has obvious synergistic corrosion inhibition. The recommended concentration is generally 5 to 30mg/L. Dosing equipment should be resistant to acid corrosion.

2.HPAA is mainly used as a metal cathode corrosion inhibitor, widely used in steel, petrochemical, electric power, medicine and other industries of circulating cooling water system corrosion inhibition, suitable for use as a low hardness, easy to corrode water corrosion inhibitor,HPAA and zinc salt compound effect is better. The organic corrosion and scale inhibitor composed with low molecular weight polymer has excellent properties.

3.Acetic acid, 2-hydroxy-2-phosphono- (CAS NO.23783-26-8) is widely used in steel, pharmaceutical industries of circulating cooling water system, corrosion inhibition, suitable for low hardness in southern China.
