Clotrimazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal drug, which has a good antibacterial effect on a variety of fungi, especially Candida albicans. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit the synthesis of fungal cell membranes and affect its metabolic process. It has antibacterial effect on superficial fungi and some deep fungi. Appearance and Properties: White powder or colorless crystalline powder. Soluble in absolute ethanol, almost insoluble in water. Odorless, tasteless, decomposes rapidly in acid solution.
