Ceftiofur Sodium
Ceftiofur Sodium is a cephalosporin class of veterinary clinical antibiotics, which is a broad-spectrum antibacterial drug. It has strong antibacterial effect on Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria. Ceftiofur acts on transcriptional peptidases to block the synthesis of mucopeptides, resulting in the loss of bacterial cell walls to achieve bactericidal effect. Ceftiofur has a stable β-lactam ring, which is not easily destroyed by drug-resistant bacteria, and can act on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria producing β-lactamase
It is mainly used for severe bacterial infection and Escherichia coli and Salmonella in poultry. 1. High temperature and high fever, coughing, panting, dyspnea, reddened and purple skin, purple ears, mouth and foot ulcers, abortion and stillbirth caused by virus, bacterial systemic or local infection, circling, paralysis of hind limbs, inability to eat, lying on the ground Constipation, diarrhea, etc. 2. Prenatal and postpartum high fever, endometritis, mastitis, agalactia and oligogalactia, laminitis, foot rot, pasteurella in cattle and sheep, transportation fever, pneumonia, nasal atrophy, etc.
